As my ceramic practice improved, I started a business to sell my work called Orb Weaver Ceramics. I was delighted to create custom branding assets and marketing strategies to make this a success. Drawing on my social media and design expertise, I've witnessed remarkable growth in social media and sales.
The branding is inspired by the Orb Weaver Spider, an insect I frequently found around my childhood home. The fonts chosen reflect the modern and funky style present in my work. The vibrant brand colors, green, black, and brown, relate to the alternative cultures to which my most engaged audiences belong.
I started as a freelance Marketing Specialist for Spectrum Behavioral Health in 2018. I advised on all marketing initiatives, designed graphics and invitations, and oversaw website management.
In 2023, I was promoted to part-time Marketing Director, trusted with revitalizing their marketing efforts. See examples of graphics I've crafted for their events. Watch this space for forthcoming updates to their branding.
Crafting your company's narrative requires finesse and authenticity. When introducing Boothby Therapy Service to new audiences, I used imagery and optimized graphics for social media to genuinely convey the company's mission and vision. This approach led to increased engagement and followers. I also enhanced their email campaign strategies and internal communications, resulting in higher provider satisfaction and new contracts.
As the main member of their marketing team, I craft the strategy for campaigns, create graphics, source images, and write all content. visit their social media pages to see the latest:
During my time at Sonic, I consistently produced hundreds of digital assets each month for national, regional, and local campaigns. I worked closely with cross-functional teams within the Marketing Department to elevate the brand's visual identity during its rebranding. A highlight of my role was crafting custom vector graphics for notable campaigns such as the launch of Sonic Seltzers and the Puppy Bowl. Adhering to contemporary UX/UI principles was crucial, especially given that the majority of these assets were designed for the Sonic application.
Don't Take Pictures is a photography magazine created by Kat Kiernan, editor-in-chief, in New York City.
What's the relationship between storytelling and photography? The fiction issue ventured to explore that relationship. I was excited to illustrate heavily detailed illuminated elements of this issue, calling on my knowledge of illuminated manuscripts from art history. Images of historical reimaginings, artistically collaged classics, and photographs of heavily detailed scenes pulled the reader into various narratives, supported by clean design and typography.

The 15th issue focused on exploration in the classical sense and internally. I utilized movement through graphics, color, and typography to move the reader through the issue, punctuating their journey with large-format images to draw them into each unique story.

Acting as lead designer, this was my first project with Kat for DTP. This magazine focused on creative ways in which photography is related to Museums. A custom map for the table of contents was one of my first decisions to bring some fun into the issue. Large gallery pages with straightforward typography were a common thread punctuated by evocative illustrations and nostalgic design to elevate each article.
CommTracks Magazine is an annually published senior project created by graphic design and marketing students at Simmons University.
As lead designer on this project, I wanted to focus on the many storms my class weathered during our time at Simmons. These pivotal years taught us resilience and the importance of relying on our community. Through vibrant hand-drawn digital mosaics, custom type, and color motifs that shift as you traverse the issue, I created a clear path out of the storm and into the sun, setting on this chapter and ushering us into a new dawn.
